Preference Employment Solutions is currently partnering with an outstanding construction supply company in the FM area who is looking for a full-time Credit Manager.  This person will be tasked to oversee all internal credit controls and risk management operations.  Our client is targeting candidates who are looking for a collaborative work environment and not afraid to ask questions.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of credit analysis and/or collections experience
  • Finance understanding with the ability to assess or predict credit risk
  • Strong legal knowledge as it related to credit laws, guarantees, letters of credit, liens, and sales tax regulations
  • Proven ability to overcome obstacles and get results
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

Responsibilities Include but not Limited to:

  • Analyze credit applications and perform risk assessments of current and potential customers
  • Monitor accounts receivable and devise a plan to collect on delinquent accounts as necessary
  • Collaborate across multiple departments to assure and maintain customer credit worthiness
  • Analyze construction contracts to mitigate unnecessary risk
  • Manage client set up process to assure accurate terms of sale, sales tax status, credit limits etc.
  • Evaluate credit laws, guarantees, letters of credit, liens, and sales tax regulations
  • Maintain strong customer relationship through a variety of activities
